Remembering Bapu ;Gandhi Jayanti celebration by Prabaha Welfare Society

On the Occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of the Father of Nation, an event was organized on the premises of Agartala Ujjayanta Palace by Prabaha Welfare Society.

The program commenced with lamp lightening by MLA Ram Prasad Paul .

The President of Prabaha Welfare Society Sri Bhaskar dasgupta payed homage to the  Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi followed by Dy President Dr Saikat Das sharma and the members of the society.

Opening speech was laid by Social activist Bhaskar Dasgupta

MLA Ram prasad paul through his speech educated about the importance of celebrating Gandhi Jayanti and spread awareness about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

As conclusion of the program the chief guest and other members cleaned the statues of master da Surya sen and Khudiram Bose on the premises of Rajbari and garlanded the martyrs.
