Rs. 456.88 cr sanctioned for Tripura Kanchanpur- Lalcherra NH-44A

The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned Rs. 456.88 crore for up-gradation and rehabilitation of Kanchanpur- Lalcherra National Highway- 44A in Tripura.

“Sanction has been given for rehabilitation and up-gradation of Lalcherra – Kanchanpur section of NH-44A under Bharatmala project in Tripura with ₹456.88 crore,” Nitin Gadkari tweeted.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his tweet said “Much gratitude, Adarniya @nitin_gadkari Ji for sanctioning ₹456.88Cr for rehabilitation & up-gradation of Lalchara – Kanchanpur section of NH-44A under Bharatmala project”.

He also added “This is another major developmental project approved under the HIRA model of Hon PM Shri @narendramodi Ji”.
