A section of 10,323 terminated teachers encircled the residence of Tripura’s Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday demanding a permanent solution to issues related to their jobs.
One of the Terminated Teachers said, “But it has been more than 4 years, BJP came to power, but nothing has been done. The Chief Minister has discussed our demands two times but unfortunately, he has failed to solve our problems.”
He also said that the economic condition of terminated teachers is very bad and family members are suffering.
Agitating teachers also claimed that earlier they tried to meet the Chief Minister but failed.
He further said, “We have been protesting democratically for 64 days but if he does not meet us then we will intensify our movement till our demands are not met.”
