“We all welcomed the Bengali New Year. The problems of the previous year should be removed and the work should be started with new enthusiasm in the new year.”
Scheduled Tribe Welfare Minister Sudhanshu Das said this while inaugurating the Dhalai district-based Barshoboron festival at Ambasa Town Hall on Wednesday.
Barshoboron festival was held in Ambasa on this day with great excitement and enthusiasm under the initiative of the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs.
Inaugurating the event, Scheduled Tribe Welfare Minister said, “May the new Bengali year bring happiness and peace in everyone’s life. The state government is implementing various public welfare programs keeping this slogan Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas in front.”
He added that every citizen of the state has to fulfill their respective responsibilities properly in implementing this program.
The Minister also said that various developmental programs of the state government should be implemented with more dedication and sincerity.
He said to the students present at the event that they should study better to fulfill their parents’ dreams. Minister Das added that they have to become a real person and in this regard, he highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s opinion and path.
