Social workers are actively involved inawareness-based works in the state: EM

NSS are actively involved in awareness-based works in the state. NSS first started in the state with 600 students of 6 colleges in 1976. NSS workers are connected with different kinds of awareness-based activities such as natural disaster, blood donation, Swachha Bharat, Van Mahotsav ete, emmciated Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath after inaugurating training and blood donation camp of NSS unit of Mohanpur Higher Secondary School yesterday. He said. presently there are about 32 thousand NSS workers in the state.

The Minister also said, the government has prioritized expansion of quality. education in the state to build Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura. Building Ek Tripura. Shrestha Tripuru depends upon classrooms, which is why 34 reforms were made in education system in the state starting from NCERT curriculum.

125 girls of the state are undergoing training in National Defense Academy. Others present in the programme were Chairperson of Mohanpur Municipal Council Sankar Deb, Chairman of School Management Committee of Mohanpur Higher Secondary School Sunil Chandra Deb, NSS State Nodal Officer Dr. Chitrajit Bhowmsk.

The programme was presided over by Headmaster of the school Uttam Kumar Das. 25 persons donated blood in the camp.
