Sourav Ganguly appointed brand ambassador of Tripura tourism

This announcement follows a meeting between Ganguly and Tripura’s Tourism Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, at Ganguly’s residence in Kolkata on Tuesday, during which the proposal was officially presented.
Following the meeting, Ganguly expressed his readiness and stated, “I am prepared; the specific details will be finalised by tonight.”

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said, “We take immense pride in the fact that the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Shri Sourav Ganguly ji, has accepted our proposal to serve as the brand ambassador for Tripura Tourism.”

He added that he had a phone conversation with him and he is confident that Ganguly ji’s involvement will significantly boost the state’s tourism industry.

The Tourism Minister emphasized, “To promote and establish the tourism of our state, Tripura, on a global scale, we require extensive promotion and effective branding.”
He added, “Who could be a better, personality than our beloved Dada, Sourav Ganguly, the worldwide renowned former captain of the Indian cricket team to serve as a popular brand ambassador for Tripura’s tourism?”
