Sports Minister inaugurates Sepahijala District Level Youth Festival

“The main strength of the country is the youth community. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken various steps for the welfare of the youth community due to which the country is becoming self-reliant today.”

Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy said this while inaugurating the Sepahijala District Youth Festival at Bishalgarh New Town Hall on Thursday.

He further said that the youth community has a big role in the development of the country in the applied field.

The sports minister added, “The youth community has a role in building a healthy society. Along with education, youth should come forward in sports, cultural practices and nation building.”

He said, “The state government has given priority to the development of sports and culture. Both these areas have the potential to develop the talent of the youth community.

Keeping this potential in mind, the state government has taken various steps for the development of sports and culture.”
