Sports Minster inaugurates West Tripura District Level Youth Festival

Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy inaugurated West District based Youth Festival at Priyalal Saha Smriti Bhavan of Dr. BR Ambedkar Vidyamandir located in Aralia.

While inaugurating the event, he said, “Youth is the future of the country. If the youth are well behaved and skilled, the country will improve and move forward”. The main theme of this year’s youth festival is “National Unity and Solidarity”.

Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy also said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that in 2017 that the country would be free of corruption and terrorism in 75 years of independence. Corruption, misrule, disunity and inequality will be removed from the country”.

Roy added that the state government wants to build ‘Unnoto Tripura o Srestho Tripura’ (Developed Tripura and Better Tripura) with the youth.

Special guest Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder said that the youth was the main driving force in India’s freedom movement.
