Manik Saha will take oath as the chief minister of the state for the second time at the Vivekananda ground at 11 AM.
The stage has been set for the swearing-in ceremony of senior BJP leader Dr. Manik Saha as the new chief minister of Tripura on Wednesday.
Dr. Saha will be administered oath by Governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya.
Preparations are on in full-swing at the Swami Vivekananda Ground in Agartala where the swearing-in ceremony of new chief minister and council of ministers will take place.
The swearing-in ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP chief J.P. Nadda several Union ministers, chief ministers from the north-eastern states.
Manik Saha visited the Swami Vivekananda maidan where he along with the high officials inspected the preparations for the upcoming ceremony.
BJP returned to power in the state by winning an absolute majority. According to the Election Commission of India, BJP+ won 33 seats with a vote share of around 39 per cent.
In the recently concluded Assembly election, the BJP retained power with a clear majority in Tripura.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the oath ceremonies of ministers including chief ministers of Tripura where the BJP won the assembly elections and will form government.
