STUDENTS BLOCKED ROAD IN PROTEST AGAINST TBSE RESULTS

Students have been protesting against the evaluation process set by TBSE to calculate the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 students in Tripura.

The same picture came up once again on Monday. On this day, some local students who did not pass the secondary and higher secondary examinations block the road at Manughat bridge. Traffic in that area was disrupted due to the blockade.

Students blocked the road, they demanded, as no exam was held, so all the students had to be passed this year.

This year, the Class 10 and 12 board exams in Tripura were cancelled and the results were calculated through the evaluation process. The evaluation process was based on the performance of students in the previous class exam and the assessment report for each of the students came from their respective schools, Ratan Lal Nath said.

Over 80 per cent of candidates have passed the secondary examination, while 95.20 per cent have passed the higher secondary examination this year
