TEDx Youth@Ronaldsay Road

TED Conferences LLC is an American media organization based in New York that posts talks online for free distribution under the slogan “ideas worth spreading”. TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local communities around the globe through TEDx events. These events are organized by passionate individuals who seek to uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in their local areas that spark conversations in their communities. TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organized independently under a free license granted by TED. These events are not controlled by TED, but event organizers agree to abide by TED’s and are offered guidelines for curation, speaker coaching, event organizing and more.

TEDxYouth@Ronaldsay Road (TEDxYouthRSR) is one such recognised event that will be organised under the approved TEDx license. It is the first TEDx event in the state of Tripura and the first youth-led TEDx event in North East India. The theme of our event is “Take the Leap”. The theme advocates Changes that take place in one’s life, which have a very positive and lucrative effect. Every individual faces some kind of an obstacle to take the leap of change, be it financial or psychological. Our theme brings forward such problems and solutions to tackle them. As a result, we have invited distinguished speakers not only from Tripura but also from different corners of the world to share their journeys of life and their ideas with relevance to our theme…

The event is managed by Agartala Events For You, a venture of TOTELL, a start-up community of Tripura. The event is scheduled on November 20,2021 at Rabindra Bhavan Hall 2, Agartala and will commence at 4 PM onwards. Tickets are available online on Townscript, a Book My Show Enterprise.
