Tejasvi Surya urges youth to fight the battle of drugs menace in North East

On Wednesday, National President of BJP Yuva Morcha Tejasvi Surya, who is on a 2-day visit in Tripura called upon all youngsters of the Northeast region to join hands with the government to fight the drug menace in this region.

He said that the issue of drugs is a serious issue because it affects the security of India as well as directly affects the youth who are 60% of the Indian population.

BJPYM National President further said, “The Northeast because of its geographical sensitivity and its placement between very important strategic zones is also prone to narco wars that other countries are trying to send inside of India but the government under the leadership Prime Minister and Home Minister has been combating this.”

He claimed that the government has seized and destroyed 25 times more drugs in the last 8 years than what was done earlier.
