The government is implementing various development works: Tribal Welfare Minister

Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma had recently inaugurated a 50-seated Boy’s Hostel at Kabiguru Rabindranath Smriti Vidyabhavan and a 50-seated Boy’s Hostel at Gandacherra Government College in Gandatwisa sub-division. Apart from that, the Minister also had laid foundation stone of a 50-seated Boy’s Hostel at Jagbandhupara HS School on the same day.

The Minister while interacting said, the government is implementing various works for the welfare of the tribals. This government has given prime importance to improving education of the tribals.

The initiative to construct Boy’s Hostel in far-flung area such as Jagbandhupara is one such example. He hoped that the welfare initiatives taken by the government will play a significant role in tribal welfare. Other dignitaries present there were MDC Bhumikananda Reang.
