The government is working towards developing the educational infrastructure: Pratima Bhowmik

The Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowermens Pratima Bhowmik yesterday Laid foundation stone for a sports complex of Santinagar Higher Secondary School located in Dhanpur under Sonamun sub-division. She also inaugurated the two-storied new building of the school.

After the inauguration, the Minister said, the state government with the support of the central government is working tirelessly for developing the state’s educational system and infrastructure. She said, 100 schools of the state are being brought under Vidajyoti Schools for the overall learning of the students. Besides that, the present government is implementing different plans for the overall development of the state.

A Forensic University is being set up on 50 Acre land in the state. A state-of-art airport has been set up. The poor sections are being given housing through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. To expand the connectivity infrastructure, a new road from state’s Udaipur to Bangladesh’s Comilla will be constructed. The Minister called upon everyone to come forward for the successful implementation of various developmental plans based on “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas for the overall development of the state.

District Education Officer of Sepahijala district II. Lodh, Sonamura Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ratan Bhowmik and Chairman of School Managing Committee of Santinagar Higher Secondary School Subhash Dehnath also delivered speech in the inaugural programme.

Welcome speech was delivered by Head Mistress of the school Gopa Dutta Other dignitates present in the programme were Kathaliya block BDO Prabal Kanti Deb, President of education related standing committee of Kathaliya Panchayat Samiti Bindu Debnath and Chairman of Mohanbhog Panchayat Samits Sribas Bhowmik.
