108 solar streets lights were installed in Gangaragar Bazar area of Thalai district under Crain Bazar Alok Jyoti Prakalp scheme at the cost of 21 lakh 60 thousand rupees yesterday. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varu through a programme unveiled a slabs and launched Aluk Jyoti Prakalp scheme.
He said, the rural markets of the state are being equipped with solar light system. 15 thousand solar struct lights will be installed in the rural markets of the state at the cast of 40 crore rupees. This will keep the rural markets illuminated after dusk, making it convenient for both buyers and sellers.
Deputy Chief Minister said, the government has given priority to improving the socio economic status of the people living in trihal areas. In the Aspirational Blocks, emphasis has heen given on 100 days of work.
The government is sincere towards developing remote areas like Ganganagar, MD Bhumikananda Reang, MLA Dhananjoy Tripura, Deputy Director of TREDA G S Dus, General Manager of NABARD M. R. Gopal also spoke on the occasion. The programme was presided over by Gangangur BAC Chuinnum Gourunga Reung.
