The ‘School Education Department’ has been honoured with the “Chief Minister’s Civil Service Award for Excellence in Public Administration” for the year 2022

Agartala, Tripura’s capital celebrated Civil Service Day on Friday afternoon. State Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha attended as the chief guest.

State Chief Secretary JK Sinha, Chief Forest Officer SK Shetty and Acting Inspector General of Police (DG) L Darlong were also present in the event.

Notably, awards were presented at the district, sub-divisional, and block levels to recognise outstanding work. Sepahijala, Unkoti and South Tripura Districts along with Ambassa, Hrishyamukh and Tepania blocks were honored for their exemplary work.

During the event, the Chief Minister emphasised that the theme for this year’s Civil Service Day was ‘Developed India’, which carried immense significance.

He highlighted the importance of extending development to the most underprivileged sections of society, which aligns with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.

CM Dr. Saha acknowledged the critical role played by civil service officers in executing the government’s programs and urged them to work with increased dedication.

The Chief Minister emphasised the need to establish additional industrial plants that take advantage of the state’s natural resources.
He mentioned that numerous agricultural crops grown in the state are now being exported in substantial amounts.
CM called for increased efforts to promote development in the state further.
