The state and central governments have given importance to women’s empowerment from the very beginning. This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Devvarma at a press conference organized on the occasion of North-East Festival at the Government Guest House Conference Hall.
At the press conference, the Deputy Chief Minister further said that this program has started from April 26, 2022. Different programs are being organized in different states of North-East on this occasion based on different themes.
A few days ago, the Home Minister announced the decision to came and save 33% of women in employment in the state. In case of higher education, women have to pay 3% less interest on loans. Government stalls have been allotted 50 per cent for women’s business. At the same time 50 percent money will be given. There are also special benefits for women start-ups said Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma told in a press conference at the State Guest House on Sunday as part of the North East Festival.
