Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb is in Manipur to campaign for the BJP in the upcoming Manipur assembly elections.
He reached Manipur on Friday. On the same day, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb was given a warm welcome by the BJP Manipur State Committee.

Speaking on behalf of the BJP candidate in the election campaign in Manipur, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb claimed that under the BJP rule, drinking water had reached 60% of the households in Manipur and 85% of the people had become digital ration cards.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, said the people of the state are ready to give another tenure to double-engine government.
The Tripura Chief Minister in a social media post wrote, “the wave of the developmental is clearly visible in the state and people of Manipur are ready to give another tenure to the double engine government led by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and CM Shri N. Biren Singh Ji.”
In the Facebook post, Deb mentioned that he was overwhelmed by the warm reception offered by BJP Manipur Karyakartas.
“Reached Imphal, Manipur, ahead of the assembly polls to campaign for the BJP Manipur candidates. Overwhelmed by the warm welcome by BJP Manipur karyakartas, their enthusiasm gives us the energy to strengthen the organisation and serve the people,” Deb said in a Facebook post.
