There can be no greater gift than blood Donation: CM Dr Saha

“The club has social responsibility. Therefore, everyone in the area needs to join the club. Only if the club is strong will there be success against addiction.”

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating a blood donation camp organized by Vivekananda Sangha located at the College Tilla on Sunday morning.

The Chief Minister said in the event, “Now there has been a change in the club culture. A healthy environment and mentality is developing.”

He added that everyone should focus on the activities of the club to meet the needs of the society.

Regarding blood donation, the Chief Minister said, “Only one person can donate blood to another person. Strange feelings are observed between blood donors and blood recipients. He who gave blood is also satisfied.”

CM added, “Blood is required for surgery, hemophilia, thalassemia, cancer and accident victims. Therefore, the importance of blood is immense. There can be no greater gift than blood.”

In view of the scarcity of blood due to the assembly elections, the Chief Minister called upon all organizations, clubs, schools, and colleges to donate blood. People responded to that call.
