New Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha after taking oath on May 15 hold a press conference at Agartala State Guest House.
Addressing Media Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said, “We have already started working for Assembly elections in 2023. CM face is secondary, for us, We keep PM in front,” adding that the upcoming elections are not a challenge for the party because of the development work done by former CM Biplab Kumar Deb and PM Narendra Modi.
“There’s no political challenge for us,” the CM said after taking oath.
Addressing his first press conference as the chief minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha said that he had good relations with ex- Chief Minister Biplab Deb.
Biplab Kumar Deb is the one who proposed Manik Saha’s name for the post of Chief Minister at the BJP legislative party meet on Saturday evening.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also added in his statement “I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah, BJP national president J P Nadda and Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb for handing over the baton to me. It is a big responsibility and I will do my duties with utmost care,”.
