Bishalgarh, Feb 18: Three persons, including a child, were seriously injured in a horrific road accident at Nabinagar Chowk Bazar area of Bishalgarh on Tuesday.

According to eyewitnesses, a passenger auto-rickshaw suddenly lost control and overturned in the busy market area, triggering panic among local residents and passersby. The exact cause of the vehicle losing control is yet to be ascertained.

Upon receiving information, firefighters rushed to the spot and promptly rescued the injured from the overturned vehicle. They were first provided initial treatment locally and later referred to the GBP Trauma Center due to the critical nature of their injuries.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident. Further details are awaited.
