TIPRA Motha in ‘secret’ alliance with Left, Congress, says Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday accused that the TIPRA Motha party and Pradyot Kishore Manikya have a ‘secret deal’ with the CPIM and Congress in the assembly elections.

Shah addressed two election rallies at Santirbazar in South Tripura and Khowai in Khowai district.

Later he also held a road show in the Banamalipur constituency to seek votes for the BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee.

The Home Minister alleged, “You have full knowledge of the Left and Congress alliance for the election. However, I want to let you know that the TIPRA and the CPI(M) also struck a deal though under the table.”

Shah claimed both Chief Minister Manik Saha and his predecessor Biplab Kumar Deb worked hard for development, welfare of all sections of people and restoration of peace in Tripura.
He said if people want the continuation of development initiatives, they should vote for the BJP.

Shah added that voting for the TIPRA and the Congress meant voting for the CPIM, which will return misrule, anarchy, corruption, non-performance and instability.
