Tirtha Mukh Fair has strengthened the relationship between the Jati and Janajatis: Tribal Welfare Minister

Tirtha Mukh Fair which has been organised on the holy occasion of Makar Sankranti is known for its “unity and diversity” speciality and nostalgia.

It has been very significant over the years in strengthening the ties between Non-Tribal and Tribal in the state.

On Friday, by inaugurating the fair at Tirtha Mukh in South Tripura the Tribal Welfare Minister Mewar Kumar Jamatia has addressed everyone with these lines.

In his memorable speech, he first praised the organisers for organising this fair amidst this very hard time.

He also requested everyone to follow all the COVID guidelines and restrictions strictly.

“After coming to power, we are highly concerned with the lives of our Tribal Brothers and Sisters. And for the welfare, progress and upgrading the lives of our Janajati people we are working day and night for them.”

He also said that “Without culture no civilisation can ever exists. So, we have to protect and practise of culture in the long run of time with all our pride and love invested towards.”
