TISF Placed Mass Deputation On 3 Point Demands

TISF (Tipra Indigenous Students Federation) the student wing of TIPRA Motha placed a mass deputation on Wednesday.

TISF placed the deputation on three point demands in front of Director Education, Government of Tripura.

Speaking to the media TISF said that the state government instructed the board to conduct CBSE or TBSE Kokborok language examinations in Bengali script.

They said that not a single student accepted such a decision and added that they want Kokborok language in Kokborok script.

TISF further said that there are only three degree colleges in TTAADC even though 70 percent areas of Tripura are under TTAADC.
TISF demanded subdivision-wise degree colleges in TTAADC across the state.
Besides, they demanded 50% reservation for ST students in student councils of degree colleges.
