TMC Leader Kunal Ghosh slammed Violent attack on media houses in Tripura

AITC leaders Kunal Ghosh, Subal Bhowmick and Jaya Dutta visited the offices of a Media house which were ransacked by hooligons on Wednesday, in Agartala, today.

This comes a day after miscreants ransacked and torched their offices.

Earlier on Wednesday, AITC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee and other party leaders condemned the attack.

On Thursday, several AITC leaders including Sushmita Dev, Chandrima Bhattacharya, Ritabrata Banerjee took out a rally in Agartala to protest against the incident.

AITC leader Sushmita Dev said: “Such attack on a media house is unprecedented in India. BJP and the government of Tripura should be ashamed of this. The miscreants should be arrested.”

The investigation into the case has already been handed over to the Crime Branch.

The hooligans attacked the office of two media houses in Agartala and ransacked the building on Wednesday.

A vehicle of a Media House was also vandalised and motorbikes of journalists were burnt.
