TMC misguiding judiciary for narrow political gains: Sushanta
As the municipal polls are nearing, the political parties of this state leaving no stones unturned to get political gains and momentum.
In the Friday press meet, the Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury who also holds the charge of cabinet spokesperson clarifying the state government’s stand said that the Trinamool Congress was trying to draw public sympathy by spreading misinformation.
He also alleged that TMC is creating disharmony and fake poll attacks across the state just to play victim card and blame game.
Their intention is to stink the reputation of BJP and gain political sympathy from the common people said Mr. Chowdhury.
Taking a stand against the TMC leadership, he said that the party had made false submission before the Supreme Court of India to showcase that contesting candidates of the opposition parties were facing attacks and harassment by the ruling party.
According to Chowdhury, the TMC submitted a false affidavit and claimed that the High Court did not consider their petition.
He strongly condemned TMC’s such immoral activity in his statement while addressing the media.
Finishing his talk, he sincerely requested the TMC and other opposition parties of the state for not creating any untoward haphazard situation that may give rise to some socio-political unrest for their mean political gain and interest.
