The Trinamool Congress workers had gathered to listen to a live telecast of Mamata Banerjee’s Speech.
They were taken to the police station. It is alleged that the Trinamool Congress workers was attacked in Kailashahar.
Allegedly, the attack started before Ashish Lal Singh reached Kailasahar.
Mr Singh alleged several motorbikes were smashed.
Although police have denied the allegations.
A police official said that 21 people were arrested as they violated the COVID restrictions and made an unlawful gathering.
