Training on pisciculture through Biofloc has started from December 7 with the initiative of Fisheries department at Jirania Panchayat Samiti hall.

The 3-day training will end on December 9. The training was inaugurated by Chairman of Jicania Panchayat Samiti Manju Das. Other dignitaries present were Vice Chairman Pritam Debnath, Joint Director of Fisheries department Abani arma and other officials of the department. fish farmers. from Jirania block, 10 from Mandai block and 3 fish farmers from Jirania Nagar Panchayat ea participated in the training.

Cylcles along with ice boxes were handed over to 5 fish farmers of Jirani sub-division under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana scheme by Jirania Nagar Panchayat Chairman Manju Das and Vice Chairman Pritam Debnath. Through this, 2 persons from Jirania block, 1 from Belabari block, 1 from Mandai block and 1 from Old Agartala block were benefitted, Total 28 thousand rupees was spent for this.

One person from Jirania Nagar Panchayat area also was handed over 1 motor cycle with 1 ice box.
