Tribal Welfare Minister inaugurates Mohanpur subdivision level inter boarding sports competition

Mohanpur sub-division based inter-residential tribal sports competition was held on Wednesday at Surendranagar Higher Secondary School ground.

Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma inaugurated the competition.
While inaugurating the competition, he said, “The government has taken various steps to develop sports talent in the state. For this, advanced sports structures are being developed.”

The Minister added, “Along with the development of socio-economic standards of the people, the development of sports and culture is also a priority of the government.”
He urged students to participate more in sports besides studies.

Tribal Welfare Minister said that a dormitory will be constructed for tribal students in Surendranagar Higher Secondary School very soon.

MLA Brishaketu Debbarma, TTAADC Education Department Executive Member Ravindra Debbarma, Hejamara BAS Chairman Sunil Debbarma, Mohanpur’s Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Subhash Dutta, Hejamar Block BDO L Darlong, Principal of Surendranagar Higher Secondary School Srabani Debbarma etc. were present on the occasion.
