Bharatiya Janata party in Tripura reacted against the statement of former Chief Minister and CPI(M) politburo member Manik sarkar over Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of indulging corruption during his 20 years rule in Tripura.
Manik sarkar while seeking vote for the left front candidate in West Tripura in Sonamura alleged that Narendra Modi and BJP is diverting people from real issues after they failed to to deliver on their poll promises.
The BJP spokesperson of Tripura BJP state committe Nabendu Bhattacharjee charged manik sarkar and CPI(M) for campaign against Prime Minister and BJP to mislead the voters.
The CPI(M) leader have not been campaigning for their candidates rather gratifying the corrupt regime of congress and want to bring those system back, he alleged.
