The Tripura BJP has planned to organise two major rallies featuring top party leaders as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s extensive campaign to showcase the accomplishments of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nine-year tenure.
During a press conference held at the state BJP headquarters, Rajib Bhattacharjee, the president of BJP Tripura announced that one of these rallies, scheduled for June 17 will be addressed by the national president of the BJP, Jagat Prakash Nadda.
Bhattacharjee said, “With confirmation received from the central authorities, we are delighted to announce that JP Nadda, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party will be addressing a grand rally in Santirbazar under South Tripura district on June 17.”
He added that this event marks the completion of nine years under the commendable leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Bhattacharjee further said, Nadda will arrive in Tripura on the evening of June 16 and will engage in the “Sampark se Samarthan” program, where he will meet with two prominent individuals from the state.
Following this, he will directly go to the rally venue at the Santirbazar school grounds and deliver his address on June 17 at 11:00 am.”
Rajib Bhattacharjee also informed that the party’s national president shall fly back to his next destination on June 17 afternoon.
Tripura’s Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Ministers and all three MPs will be present among other dignitaries at the mass gathering.
He also stated that several meetings have taken place with party representatives, including MPs, ministers, MLAs, and others centering the preparation for JP Nadda’s visit.
