The executive committee of the Tripura state BJP leadership convened a meeting at Charilam Class XII School in Bishalgarh Subdivision, Sepahijala district on Monday at 11 am.
More than 180 delegates including Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, BJP Tripura organisational president Dr. Mahesh Sharma, state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee, state organisational general secretary Phanindra Nath Sharma and the state BJP committee members attended the meeting.
Other prominent leaders such as state MPs, cabinet members, general secretaries, district presidents, and morcha presidents also participated in this state-level meeting.
The meeting focused on facilitating the effective execution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nine-year tenure.
A nationwide program was initiated from May 30 to June 30 to commemorate the completion of nine years of the Prime Minister’s leadership.
A comprehensive range of discussions took place during the meeting with the objective to strengthen the unity of the entire party by addressing any organisational shortcomings.
Presently, the ruling BJP is actively engaged in state-wide activities aimed at self-empowerment.
Every electoral booth is being revamped with the goal of achieving better outcomes in the upcoming elections.
Besides, initiatives have commenced at the mandal level, and changes are being implemented across various organisational levels. In the near future, significant reshuffling will take place at the mandal, district, and state levels.
Insider sources have revealed that these matters were discussed during Monday’s meeting.
Furthermore, discussions regarding the current organisational situation, the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the subsequent circumstances were also discussed during the meeting.
