Tripura BJP to intensify Lok Sabha poll campaign with PM Modi’s birthday celebrations on Sept 17

Tripura BJP branch plans to enhance its campaigning efforts for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, scheduled for next year.

They intend to kickstart this effort by commemorating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17, as announced by BJP MLA Bhagaban Das.

This celebration, named ‘Namo Vikas Utsav,’ will feature a series of programs and events.
While addressing media, MLA Das said that Tripura BJP wants to demonstrate the deep admiration that the people of Tripura hold for Modi ji, and their collective desire to witness Modi become Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.

He added that through this event, the BJP will step up its efforts for the Lok Sabha elections.
Das said that the celebrations on September 17 will begin with a yoga session taking place at the Kumarghat PWD Ground where various prominent leaders from Delhi and Tripura including Chief Minister Manik Saha and his cabinet members will participate.

Das continued, “Afterwards, distinguished social activists will deliver patriotic speeches. Following that, more than 500 volunteers, wearing ‘NaMo’ T-shirts, will actively participate in a cleanliness campaign in the area.”

He added, “As Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates his 73rd birthday on September 17, there will be significant gestures in alignment with this special occasion. A total of 73 priority households will be granted PG ration cards, 73 copies of the Bhagavad Gita will be distributed among students, and 73 individuals with disabilities will receive aids as part of the event’s activities.
