Tripura By-Poll: Counting of votes to begin at 8 am

The counting of votes given in the by-election in 4 constituencies to begin from 8 am.

Counting of 6-Agartala and 8-Town Bardowali is being done at hall no 1 and 2 of Umakanta Academy’s old building respectively.

Counting of 46-Surma is being counted at Kamalpur HS School’s Hall no 1.

Vote counting of 57-Jubarajnagar constituency is going on at Birbikram Institution of Dharmanagar.

Section 144 is enforced from 6 am till the end of counting in the nearby areas where the counting centres are located.

The action is taken to ensure peace and harmony.

SDM said 5 or more people cannot gather within the 200 meters of counting centre and special permission is required for carrying mobile phones.

Police force, paramilitary and other individuals associated with law and order department are protecting these areas.

Fate of all 22 candidates will be decided after completing the counting. Who will win or lose and with what margin, the public is eagerly waiting for it.

Although most leaders and parties are confident about their victory.
