Tripura cabinet clears filling up of 9175 posts: CM Manik Saha

The cabinet of ministers of Tripura has taken some important decisions on Thursday, which includes recruitment in 9175 posts and a new scheme for providing social allowance to 30,000 beneficiaries.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has announced various decisions taken or approved by cabinet on social media on Friday.

CM highlighted that the cabinet approved recruitment of 6067 Special Executive posts under the Home department.

He further said that these special executives would be recruited to assist the police in all the police stations in urban and rural areas of the state.

CM Saha said that the state government’s move would ensure more security to the people of the state.

He added that the cabinet also decided and approved the recruitment of 3108 teachers from the TET qualified candidates.

He clarified that 2351 would be Graduate Teachers at Upper Primary Level and 757 would be Under Graduate Teachers.
According to CM, the state cabinet also approved 15% hike in the expenditure related to the payment of salaries to Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and helpers.

The social media post also revealed that the Tripura cabinet approved another important decision regarding introduction of a new social allowances scheme, “Chief Minister Social Assistance Scheme” for the poor people.
The Chief Minister mentioned that 30,000 new beneficiaries have been brought under this scheme and now they would also get a monthly allowance of Rs. 2000.
