Tripura cabinet expansion likely soon: Sources

Amid speculation of state cabinet expansion Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb recently met Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya.

He also met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah during the 2-day North East Space Application Centre (NESPC) meeting at Shillong.

The reshuffle and expansion are expected to take place in the coming week.

Chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb, recently visited New Delhi, where he met top central BJP leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sources also confirmed that the new cabinet would be formed, keeping in view the 2023 Assembly elections in the State.
