Tripura CM lays foundation stone for RCC Bridge over Manu river

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has started visiting the entire state with a bird’s eye view of the 2023 Tripura Assembly elections.

The Chief Minister has started his tour in different parts of the state to understand the opinion of the people of the state about the work of the present BJP-IPFT coalition government.

Chief Minister Biplob Kumar Deb’s popularity graph is on the rise in the state.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb laid the foundation stone for the construction of RCC Bridge over Manu river at Manikpur, Longtharai valley, Dhalai.

Rs.500.33 lakhs have been sanctioned for the project and the bridge will be completed in 24 months.Implementation of this project will substantially improve the socio-economic conditions of the rural inhabitants of Chawmanu Block.

At present people of Debachera cross the river through temporary bamboo Foot Bridge but during rainy season they cover the journey of more than 14.00Km to come to Manikpur Market via Chawmanu.

Fulfilling a long-standing demand of the people of Manikpur in Tripura’s Dhalai district, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for construction of an RCC bridge over Manu river.

He said, “I myself experienced the difficulties faced by the locals while crossing the current bamboo bridge and I assure everyone that we will finish the construction of this bridge in minimum time possible”.

He also added “People have Chawmanu and other areas of the states had been neglected from the development during the tenure of the previous governments”.

“But under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji we are leaving no stone unturned for the holistic development of the state and to achieve Antyodaya” he said.
