Tripura Congress demanded restoration of the War Memorial at Post Office Chowmohoni.

Congress leader Manik Deb made the demand while addressing a press conference at the Congress Bhawan in Agartala on Monday.

The historical War Memorial was recently removed from the post office Chawmohoni.

Earlier, the historic cannon was also removed from here.

According to administration sources, the historic cannon and the memorial have been removed from the post office Chawmohoni for beautification work of Smart City.
