Tripura: CPIM candidates for Bokshanagar and Dhanpur bye poll files nomination papers

Mizan Hussain and Kaushik Chanda, the two candidates nominated by CPIM for the by-election in the Boxanagar and Dhanpur assembly constituencies, respectively, formally submitted their nomination documents to the Returning Officer on Wednesday.

The CPIM’s nominated candidates organised extensive rallies in the two Assembly Constituencies on Wednesday and subsequently handed over their nomination papers to the Returning Officer in Sonamura.

The CPIM MLA and State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury was present at the rally.

CPIM has taken the lead as the first political party to file nomination papers for the upcoming by-elections scheduled for September 5.
