The G-20 Science Summit is going to be held on April 3-4, 2023 in Agartala, which is surely a matter of pride for the state.
All kinds of preparations have been made by the state administration to make this summit a complete success.
Abhishek Chandra, Secretary of the Department of Industry and Commerce in a press conference at the Secretariat on Saturday highlighted the preparations for the G-20 Science Summit and said this.
He said that the main program of the G20 Science Summit will be organized in the indoor exhibition hall of the International Fair Grounds in Hapania.
The theme of this summit is “Clean Energy for a Greener Future”. Abhishek Chandra further said that the summit will be attended by 85 to 90 delegates including representatives of fourteen G-20 countries, invited members of additional 9 countries and central level representatives of these countries.
He added, “The G-20 summit delegates will arrive in Tripura on April 2 afternoon. In the afternoon the delegates will visit Elbert Eka Park and Kumaritila Musical Fountain. In the evening, the State Chief Minister Dr. Manik Sahar will be held a meeting with the delegates at the State Government Guest House.”
Industry and Commerce Secretary said that the first session of the G-20 Science Summit will begin at 9 am on April 3 in the indoor exhibition hall of the International Fair Ground.
The afternoon session will include opening of exhibition stalls, press conference and investor meet.
There will be 55 stalls in the exhibition. It will have stalls of various countries for exhibition along with stalls of handicrafts and handicrafts of the state.
In the evening on this day light and sound show and cultural programs will be organized by the Department of Information and Culture at Ujjanyant Palace.
