In today’s meeting of the State Cabinet, it has been decided to appoint 400 people in the post of Panchayat Executive Officer in the Panchayat Department.
Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushant Chowdhury announced the decision at a press conference held at the Secretariat’s press conference hall after the cabinet meeting.
He said that the posts of executive officers of these 400 panchayats are in non-gazetted category.
These posts will be filled through TPSC. In today’s cabinet meeting, it was also decided to create 200 special educator posts in the education department and fill them. The Information and Cultural Affairs Minister said that the state government is going to launch Vidya Jyoti project in 100 CBSE approved schools in the state.
500 crore will be spent for this project. In order to successfully implement the Vidya Jyoti project, it has been decided to appoint a total of 200 Special Educators, 2 in each of those 100 schools. “In a cabinet meeting on Friday, decision was taken to set up National Law University and government decided to spend an amount of Rs 50 crore for a period of five years,” said Information and Cultural Affairs minister Sushanta Chowdhury in a press conference.
