Tripura govt will be spending around 90Cr INR to provide social security to 7,000 tea garden workers of the state.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb attended a programme organised by BJP Bamutiya Mandal on Mukhyamantri Cha Sramik Prakalpa at Durgabari Tea Estate,Bamutia, on Friday.

Under the aforementioned scheme, the Tripura govt will be spending around 90Cr INR to provide social security to 7,000 tea garden workers of the state.

In his tweet Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said, “Grateful to all who were present at Durgabari to thank the Tripura govt for increasing the wage of tea garden workers from INR 105(during previous govt) to INR 176.
Under the guidance of Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, we are committed for the holistic development of the state”.

Member of Parliament & Tripura President, Dr. Manik Saha, Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, MLA Shri Krishnadhan Das and Chairman of Tea Development Corporation Santosh Saha and other office bearers were present during the program.
