After arriving at MBB Airport in Agartala on Monday, TMC chief Mamata Banerjee said that if West Bengal is her first home then poll-bound Tripura is her second home.
West Bengal Chief Minister said that TMC stood by the people of Tripura when BJP was torturing everyone in Tripura.
She claimed vehicles of TMC MPs including Abhishek Banerjee, Sushmita Dev, Dola Sen, Kakali Dastidar and many others came under attack.
TMC Supremo added, “When the first Congress government was formed in Tripura that time the then MP Santoshmohan Deb, Manoranjan Bhakra and me worked together. I know Tripura very closely and worked here as my home.”
Mamata further said “There is a longstanding relationship between Tripura and West Bengal. It is like my home as I can talk in Bengali, and our attire and food are also the same”.
Then, she visited the Tripurasundari temple at Udaipur in the Gomati district to seek blessings by performing puja. She will address an election rally in Agartala today.
