Tripura NSUI Demands Time For University Exams; also demands free distribution of masks among students

NSUI State President Samrat Roy while addressing Media demands free distribution of masks among school and college students, including postponing examination schedules in colleges and universities.

NSUI State President Samrat Roy raised allegations against scam in scholarship and abrupt notification issued by Tripura University (Central) and Health & Education department.

He in his statement said “NSUI condemn the abrupt notification published on 05/01/2022 about starting the semester exams from 10/01/2022 by the Tripura University (A Central University) of 5th and 7th semester for B.A, B.SC and B.Ed. courses and demand giving at least one month should be given to the students prior to the exam immediately”.

He also said “During the 3rd wave of corona pandemic i.e. Omicron infection the Health and Education Department of Tripura have been remained idle and not maintaining Anti corona protocol before sending the students to their respected schools and institutions”.

He said “As a regulatory department they should take the proper initiatives prior to sending the students to their institutes and also should distribute free mask and sanitizers along with creating a monitoring panel appointed to all educational institutes which will maintain all the protocols for the sake of students”.
