PM Narendra Modi campaigned for the BJP in Tripura on Saturday in the view of the forthcoming assembly elections.
The PM held a roadshow in Gomati district and also addressed election rallies. He also addressed an election rally in Ambassa in Dhalai district on the same day.
A huge crowd of people lined up on both sides of the road to watch PM Modi and his road show.
The crowd included men, women and children of various communities including tribals.
People showed massive amounts of energy and enthusiasm while seeing the prime minister.
BJP is fighting on 55 seats in Tripura and has left 5 seats for its ally Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura.
The BJP-IPFT alliance is fighting against Congress-CPM alliance in the state.
