Tripura: Police seizes 529 kg ganja

Khowai District Police Achieved major achievement against drug trafficking, during night vehicle checking on NH-8 at 41 mile, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Teliamura, Officer-In-Charge, Mungyiakami Police Station along with other officer & staff detained one truck (Six) Wheeler) bearing registration No.HP-38-V-8817.

During search of the vehicle police party recovered total 529 kg dry ganja from the vehicle & accordingly seized Dry Ganja and the truck.

The driver of the vehicle namely Manoj Kumar(40) S/O Subedar Matho of Plot No.149, Transport Nagar, Dist. Faridabad, Hariyana is arrested.

A specific case is being registered for further investigation.
