Tripura records overall voter turnout of 81.54% in Civic Polls

Voting for Tripura Municipal Elections began at 7 am amid allegations by the Trinamool Congress against the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The voting has been started from early morning in every corner of the state. No cases of poll rigging and violence has been registered till now.

Voters are standing in long lines before the poll centers and giving their votes in festive mood.

According to recent updates from Tripura Police, the law and order situation of Tripura is tight under full observation.

TSR and Police personnel have been deployed in every polling booth across the state. Any kind of untoward situation would be dealt with absolute strictness and accountability.

“Common people should cast their vote being responsible and unafraid of hooligans as it’s our responsibility to ensure their safety and protection” urged Tripura Police.
