Two-day session of Tripura Legislative Assembly to begin today.

The two-day session of the state assembly will be held on September 24 and 27.

The process of electing the Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly will be held at the beginning of the first day of this session.

Ratan Chakraborty will take charge as new speaker of the assembly. Chakraborty, has filed his nomination for the post on Thursday and sources say, he is expected to win the election uncontested.

Five bills will come up in the two-day state assembly session this time.

The BAC meeting was held on Monday.

State Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath informed this while addressing Media.
