Two held for attack on Tripura BJP leader in Agartala

BJP activist and president of SC Morcha Suman Das was brutally attacked on Tuesday morning by miscreants in Agartala.

It is reported that the victim Suman Das was attacked early in the morning when he was returning from morning walk.
The miscreants came in a car and suddenly attacked him with sharp weapons.
The victim is currently under treatment in GBP hospital, as he sustained serious injuries in this attack.

It is to be noted that Suman Das is a resident of the Banamalipur Assembly Constituency.
Former Chief Minister and incumbent Rajyasabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb and present Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha rushed to GBP Hospital after receiving the information.
MP Biplab Deb said, ”We know very much who have done this incident and nobody will be spared”.

Meanwhile, BJP lodged an FIR accusing a Congress worker do the attack.

Two persons were arrested for an alleged murderous attack on BJP’s Scheduled Caste Morcha Mandal president of Banamalipur assembly constituency in the city, Suman  Das (35), on Tuesday morning based on the statement of the victim.
