Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal met Hajagiri dance guru Padmashri Satyaram Reang

Union Minister of State for Culture and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal met Hajagiri dance guru Padmashri Satyaram Reang at Dashmi Riang Para in Shantirbazar sub-division of South Tripura district.

The Union Minister spoke to Satyaram Reang’s elder son, son’s wife, and two daughters during the meeting.

He also suggested creating a project to improve and spread Hajagiri dance. The Union Minister said that the central government will provide all possible assistance in this regard.

When Union Minister Meghwal reached Satyaram Riang’s house this evening, he was welcomed by Shantirbazar Sub-Divisional Sub-Divisional Governor Arghya Saha and Sub-Divisional Police Officer.

On his way back from Shantirbazar, Union Minister Shri Meghwal visited Tripureshwari Temple at Matabari.
